Pay What You can pottery classes

Pay What You Can sessions are a 2.5 hour wheel throwing taster session that run once a month as part of the Jinks Pottery community outreach programme. The sessions are discounted so that people who are struggling financially and may benefit from the experience of working with clay can have access to a new experience, which often provides a much needed respite from personal burdens.

Please only sign up for this class if you feel you are on a lower income scale. If you would like a fully-funded spot in the class, please message us outlining your situation.

A strong foundation for establishing core pottery skills, a 2.5 hour taster gives you a solid introduction into basic wheel-throwing for open bowl and cylindrical forms. Choose one best piece which will be fired and glazed for you, and get a taste of the holistic process of working with clay.

Monday afternoons 2pm - 4.30pm. Thrown pieces can be picked up approximately three-weeks after the class.
