Moving in to new studio

This week I have been moving into the new Jinks Pottery space with both trepidation and a sense of excitement. It’s amazing to be in my own studio room, to lay it out and make it what I want it to be, to clean and throw away accumulated rubbish and to have fun finding free pieces to bring in, like the G Plan shelves and the vintage Seiko £5 wall clock and the £10 Belfast sink :)

I think to be fully honest with myself, I’m scared, I didn’t make anywhere near as much as I thought I would from the Crowdfunder, although it has a week left to run, but I did make enough to get the 4 wheels and start teaching, but there’s no cushion, and I really need to start filling places in the April classes. I need to print flyers and get them out there, also I need to go get the wheels and clay and finish setting up the studio :) which I am enjoying greatly. My partner Agnes has been amazing at supporting and business coaching me through my fears and anxiety, she is a rock x at the same time a lot of life changes have occurred this year already. I moved in with Agnes and Ida and then I lost my Lou dog to a car accident, and then I started a Crowdfunder and next my son leaves to live in Southern Ireland, what a head spinner. Love to all for reading this far xxxxx
