My Wheel throwing classes are an accelerated learning experience.

I teach one to one or two to one in a small relaxed studio, with electric wheels and Leach kick wheel. My classes cater to you and your level. You will learn about clay as a material to form shapes on the wheel, domestic table ware, cylinders and plates.

You will learn about trimming, glazes and firing in my own electric kiln.

I offer-

Taster sessions; 3 hours of guided instruction, a quick class to have a go on the wheel, try it out make some pots, try a kick wheel and electric wheel in pairs or one to one, I will trim and glaze your pots and fire them for you.

Advanced taster sessions; 3 weeks where you do the trimming and glazing and firing yourself, fully hands on experience the whole journey from wet clay to fired pot.

Complex forms sessions; 6 weeks where you learn to throw, lidded jars, sets of tableware to size, vases, multi pot forms, plates, add handles to forms.
